About the author of The Highly Sensitive Person

Elaine N. Aron is an American clinical research psychologist and bestselling author. She earned her PhD in clinical depth psychology from California’s Pacifica Graduate Institute, and maintains a private psychotherapy practice in San Francisco’s Bay area. Aron and her husband, psychology professor Arthur Aron, have collaborated on numerous studies regarding children with sensory processing sensitivity and their work has benefited thousands.
