Carl Sagan

Carl Sagan

Carl Sagan was an astronomer and astrophysicist who made major contributions to the study of space and extraterrestrial life. He was an associate professor at Harvard and Cornell, publishing over six hundred scientific papers during his tenure. He produced the immensely popular TV series Cosmos and authored many books including Contact and Pale Blue Dot. Sagan passed away in 1996.
