About the author of Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming

American psychophysiologist Stephen LaBerge earned his PhD from Stanford University. As a research associate, he studied lucid dreaming at the Stanford Sleep Laboratory before founding the Lucidity Institute in 1987. Howard Rheingold is a writer and teacher focused on the effects of modern communication on culture and society. He was a visiting lecturer at Stanford University’s Department of Communication.
