British scientist Adam Rutherford holds a PhD in genetics from University College London, where he has spent time as an Honorary Senior Research Associate in the Division of Biosciences. Rutherford is a science author and broadcaster, with several documentaries to his name. He is the two-time recipient of the Wellcome Book Prize for his texts on genetics.
