Karl Pillemer

Karl Pillemer

Karl Pillemer holds a PhD in sociology and has devoted his professional life to the study of gerontology. In 2004, Pillemer established the Legacy Project at Cornell University, where he teaches Human Development. His comprehensive study of senior Americans developed into two books and numerous speaking engagements that reflect on societal elders and their often overlooked and underutilized advice.
