Tim Ingold

Tim Ingold

Tim Ingold is a British anthropologist and Chair of Social Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen. Ingold has a PhD from the University of Cambridge and an honorary doctorate from Leuphana University of Lüneburg; he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2022. His highly-regarded research spans topics from ecology to technology, art, and creativity.
