About the author of All About Me!
Mel Brooks
A recipient of the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award, Mel Brooks is one of the few people to have won each of the four major awards given in the entertainment industry: an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Tony. He’s written numerous television comedies, and penned, produced, and directed many screenplays, including Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and The Producers. President Barack Obama also presented Brooks with the National Medal of Arts award in 2016.
