About the author of Digital Minimalism

Cal Newport is an American professor and bestselling nonfiction author. He holds a PhD in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and began teaching at Georgetown University shortly after graduation. He writes extensively on technology, digital ethics, and how to solve problems in a changing society. Newport has published over 65 peer-reviewed articles and seven books.
